The first national health and anti-poverty hospital in Guangdong Province will land at Guangzhou's Kangmin Hospital. According to the Kangmin Hospital, it will distribute the national health and anti-poverty fund cards for free to 10,000 people among the disadvantaged migrant workers, servicemen and martyr's family members, poverty-stricken households, the disabled and more. There is a 1,000RMB health and anti-poverty credit in each card, which will be deducted when the card owner receives medical checkups, treatment, and surgeries at Kangmin Hospital.
Among the 10,000 fund cards put out by the Guangzhou Kangmin Hospital, 6,000 will be granted to migrant workers, 3,000 to poverty-stricken households, 800 to the disabled and 200 to servicemen and martyr's family members.
The Guangzhou Kangmin Hospital plans and prepares to provide free medical checkups to the over 30,000 taxi drivers in Guangzhou.
The national health and anti-poverty hospital is an aid program to the poor co-sponsored by the Ministry of Health, the China Primary Health Care Fund and the China Health and Anti-poverty Project.
