Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee (GAGOC) plans to launch this November, bid invitations internationally, for the broadcasting center of the 16th Asian Games in 2010.
The TV broadcasts of the opening and closing ceremonies and all live competitions of the games will be controlled via the center. The complex will also provide venue services, international broadcast center (IBC) and major press center (MPC) to the authorized countries and TV broadcasting operators.
The bidding invitation has been commissioned by GAGOC to an agent company.
GAGOC's Broadcasting and Media Service arranged several professional discussions about the operation, management, technical specifications and service codes of the center, and worked out the letter of bidding at the guidance of Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).
The bidding will be operated according to GAGOC's games philosophy of "Clean, Cost-effective and Open”.
The 16th Asian Games will be held on November 12-27, 2010 in this South China metropolis.
