The 16th Asian Games (Guangzhou) Supervision Committee was set up last Wednesday in Guangzhou. Mr. Xu Ruisheng, Vice-mayor of Guangzhou and Administrative Secretary-General of GAGOC attended the ceremony. He remarked that the Supervision Committee is one of the measures that enhances the city’s characteristics for hosting the Asian Games.

The Supervision Committee consists of 25 members and will supervise the work and staff of GAGOC, and departments of institutions of construction projects for the Asian Games fields, covering the management of funds and materials.
