"Made in China" label always guarantees inexpensive price, however, on the first day of the 102nd session of China's Import and Export Fair (CIEF, Canton Fair), most of the China-made commodities got a 10% rise in price.

"Due to the appreciation of RMB and rise of wages and raw material prices, China's enterprises are trying to transfer the increasing costs to the buyers. Other regions in the world have to pay more to import China's commodities", said Jonathan Anderson, chief Asia-Pacific economist at UBS AG.
Manufacturers of domestic electric appliances, on the other hand, are optimistic to the price rising. With the assets of avant-garde design, environmental protection and high technology, the products are much favored by the market.
"Our material suppliers have been certified by the ROHS and meet EU's standards. European and Japanese traders are willing to pay more on eco-friendly commodities," an official of a company said.
Since the 100th session of the Canton Fair, international buyers were surprised to find that all enterprises with a "Made in China" label had an average 10%-20% up in prices. Despite the price increase, the 101st session made a new export record over 36.39 billion USD, a 6.8% increase compared to the previous session.
Textile Import
As quota of textile import is restricted by the U.S. and Europe, parts of the small and medium enterprises tend to be more prudent for the business.
