The 5th China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition – the last grand automobile exhibition in China for 2007 – kicked off at the Guangzhou International Convention & Exhibition Center on November 20th. Citizens and auto lovers had a great opportunity to get access to over twenty concept cars, more than 80 cars of new models and other vehicles initially launched worldwide provided by nearly 400 enterprises from home and abroad.

Themed "Keep Pace with the World, Gear up for Life", this exhibition is going to distinguish itself as a high profile, world-class comprehensive event,, and endeavor to continually enhance the professionalism in each of its exhibition areas. The exhibition area reached 95 thousand square meters, increasing by 90% compared with the first session of this exhibition. Nine exhibition halls of the Guangzhou International Convention & Exhibition Center, Asia's most advanced exhibition center, were applied to present products like passenger cars, commercial vehicles, auto parts and accessories. In addition, there were the China (Guangzhou) Automobile Culture Festival and the 2007 China (Guangzhou) Automobile Development Forum with 'China's Auto Industry Joins in World Competition' as the theme.

During the exhibition, there are buses running between the Garden Hotel, Rosedale Hotel & Suites, Panxi Restaurant, HNA Hotel Central, Tianhe Sports Center and Pazhou Complex to pick up passengers for free.
