Guangzhou's just welcomed back a rainy week from today.

It is raining this afternoon. The municipal weather office forecasts heavy downpour tomorrow and continuing rainfall later this week.

There will be three periods of intensive rainfalls this month in Guangdong Province, respectively July 6-10, 13-17, and late July, according to local authority.

Other than rain, typhoons are expected to influence this South China coastal province and to pose challenges to Guangdong's anti-flood undertakings.
