In November, Macau will be home to the first ever World Heritage Expo, which already includes the participation of 10 other Asian countries and regions.
According to local radio station, Radio Macau, the expo will run from November 26 through 28, and its aim is to let the public know more about the natural wonders UNESCO has classified as part of its World Heritage sites.
The expo is expected to include seminars, forums as well as dance and song demonstrations from some of the countries and regions exhibited. UNESCO experts have also been invited to attend the expo, however, organisers are still waiting for confirmation, Radio Macau said, adding that organisers are also hoping this will become an annual expo.
