Dongguan's exports in H3 saw a drop of 19% year-on-year, its rate of declining has narrowed by 21 percent points compared to that of the first quarter.
Exports in Dongguan have shown great recovery in the third quarter, said the Vice Director of Dongguan Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation yesterday.
Despite the exports in H3 saw a drop of 19% year-on-year, its rate of declining has narrowed by 21 percent points compared to that of the first quarter and narrowed by 11 percent points compared to that of the second quarter, according to Ye GuoZhu, the Vice Director of the Bureau during a seminar with local bankers on November 25th.
The Vice Director's saying had echoes from a statics provided by China Construction Bank during the seminar. Dongguan Bureau of Statistics has done a sample survey to 46 companies on their business orders, and found that the number of companies with increased orders has increased by 221% compared with H2, according to the statistics.
But financial difficulties for enterprises still exist while exports are picking up its steps. China Construction Bank said there are a number of enterprises which get business orders and hesitate to restart their machines with financial difficulties in purchasing raw materials. The Vice Director admitted that there were financial difficulties for small and medium-sized enterprises in Dongguan.
